La Leche League of the Sunshine State, a Florida La Leche League Area, offers breastfeeding help to mothers and their babies and support to the Florida La Leche League Leaders and Puerto Rico La Leche League Leaders who serve them. La Leche League of the Sunshine State is connected with La Leche League International.
La Leche League Leaders are mothers who have breastfed their own babies and have gone through an accredidation process to help other mothers breastfeed sucessfully and to lead the mother-to-mother breastfeeding support group meetings that La Leche League (LLL) offers. Our LLL Groups are located throughout the state of Florida and welcome all women interested in breastfeeding. La Leche League Groups also maintain a lending library on a variety of breastfeeding and parenting topics which is made available to La Leche League members. The Group Meetings your local La Leche League Leader may offer typically rotates through a series of topics. All breastfeeding questions and concerns are welcome at every LLL Group meeting, regardless of the meeting topic.

La Leche League (LLL) is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to all women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to La Leche League meetings or call a La Leche League Leader for breastfeeding help. LLL also provides health care professionals with continuing education opportunities and conferences for parents on breastfeeding and parenting.
