La Leche League Groups in Tampa, FL

The mission of La Leche League International is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.

Our volunteer Leaders are experienced breastfeeding mothers who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with breastfeeding.  LLL Leaders are familiar with research and current findings dealing with nursing, offering practical information and support to breastfeeding mothers through telephone help and monthly gatherings. All women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend meetings or call Leaders for breastfeeding help.

La Leche League offers several meetings and locations in the Tampa area and welcomes all pregnant and nursing mothers to attend. If one location or meeting time does not work well for you, perhaps another one will.
